The problem
Fleet data is abundant. Fleet answers are not.
Telematics units, fuel cards, workshop records and driver reports all describe the same fleet — in different formats, on different clocks, and almost never joined together.
The practical consequence is that nobody can answer simple questions quickly. Which vehicles are earning their keep. Which are heading for a failure that a workshop visit next week would prevent. Whether a route is slow because of traffic or because of how it was planned. In the absence of joined-up data, maintenance gets scheduled by calendar rather than condition, utilisation is estimated from memory, and avoidable downtime is absorbed as a cost of doing business.
Capabilities
What we build in this domain
Visibility and integration
- Real-time fleet state and position
- GPS and telematics integration across mixed hardware
- Fuel card, workshop and ERP data consolidation
- Geofencing and operational exception alerts
Analytics and optimisation
- Vehicle utilisation and idle-time analysis
- Route efficiency and planning analytics
- Fuel efficiency and operating cost per asset
- Fleet performance dashboards by depot, route or asset class
Prediction and safety
- Condition-based and predictive maintenance scheduling
- Driver behaviour and safety event analytics
- Anomaly detection across telematics streams
- Damage and condition assessment from inspection photographs
Who it is for
Intended users
- Logistics and distribution companies
- Transport and haulage operators
- Last-mile and delivery networks
- Commercial fleet owners and leasing providers
- Public transport agencies
- Any organisation managing a large mixed vehicle fleet
Expected outcomes
What changes
- Maintenance decided by asset condition rather than a fixed calendar interval
- A single view of utilisation that replaces depot-by-depot estimates
- Exceptions surfaced to a named person while there is still time to act
- Operating cost attributable to individual assets and routes
- Safety events reviewed systematically instead of only after an incident
Scope, limits and oversight
Fleet Intelligence is operational analytics and decision-support software. It informs maintenance, routing and safety decisions; it does not control vehicles, and it is not a substitute for statutory inspection regimes or a qualified technician's judgement. Predictive maintenance models require sufficient historical failure data to be useful, and we will assess during discovery whether that data exists before proposing one.
